Der Spiegel  just broke information on 30DEC2013 that was not known previously widely known and confirms guidance I have given on this site for anyone who is willing to listen.  It deserves to be shared to the maximum extent possible.  Anyone involved in the Liberty movement and has influence in communication must watch the included video.  It is that critical.  This confirms with actual government documents what many of you have feared.    Any electronic device can be easily and remotely turned into a bugging device.  Any electronic device can be turned into a bugging device.

This documents how disabling your 802.11 card is useless.  How, reformatting your drive if you are targeted is useless.  They have persistent firmware and SIM level software that just re-installs.  One of the scariest things was the document showing interdiction of hardware, and they doing things like adding components modeled into the case of your computer, phone or GPS unit. How they have created their own 802.11 like devices and install them into things like USB drives, monitor cables.  Man oh man.  He ends documenting how they actually bounce waves off of you to activate and use devices they may have planted near you.  All very, scary stuff.

There is no known way (that I am aware of) to secure electronic communications on the Internet or with an Internet connected electronic device from state-level labs. Russia for their TOP SECRET operations have gone back to type manual writers and hand moving notes around.  I encourage the Liberty and Tea Party movements to take note and improve your communications security (COMSEC).

If you want to communicate securely, loose all electronic devices, and I mean all of them.  Don’t miss things like your car radio, GPS units or electronic wrist watches.   Drive somewhere where people are not constantly walking by with electronic devices because one or more of them can be “hot miked” and your conversation overheard by the chatty teenage girl 20 feet away.   They remotely geo-locate you (cameras, GPS units, etc.), then bug the entire block, looking for your voice print and just yank the conversation.  Walk into the woods and then talk.  In every other situation, you should assume you are being recorded, and your conversation is being retained and stored to be used against you in the future.  This also confirms that they claim they are keeping 15 years of data on you.  If they can keep 15 on everyone, you should assume in truth they are keeping it all.  All electronic movements of money, health records, every conversation has been intercepted, analyzed and retained.  Soft martial law is here.

If any of you get caught talking freedom on your phone, email or other electronic device, I will personally find you and bitch slap you. Get smart or I shall taunt you a second time.  Please folks, be smart in what you say, where you say it and to who (or is it whom) you say it.  Don’t let their soft tyranny defeat your soft secession, but realize that when you wake up in the morning you are under surveillance, act like it.    There was this sign over the door at the military unit I served with.  It read “Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they are not out to get you.”   Read, listen and weep.

Following up on the latest stunning revelations released yesterday by German Spiegel which exposed the spy agency’s 50 page catalog of “backdoor penetration techniques“, today during a speech given by Jacob Applebaum (@ioerror) at the 30th Chaos Communication Congress, a new bombshell emerged: specifically the complete and detailed description of how the NSA bugs, remotely, your iPhone. The way the NSA accomplishes this is using software known as Dropout Jeep, which it describes as follows: “DROPOUT JEEP is a software implant for the Apple iPhone that utilizes modular mission applications to provide specific SIGINT functionality. This functionality includes the ability to remotely push/pull files from the device. SMS retrieval, contact list retrieval, voicemail, geolocation, hot mic, camera capture, cell tower location, etc. Command, control and data exfiltration can occur over SMS messaging or a GPRS data connection. All communications with the implant will be covert and encrypted.”
