There is not much to say at this point about the Occupy Oregon Harney County Resource Center the renamed Federal Malheur Wildlife Refuge center situation. JWR from Survival Blog put up a post here title Malheur: The 3,025 FPS Arrest Warrant. The Coalition of Western States (COWS) put out a statement on their Facebook page.  The COWS has negotiated with the federales to get everyone out who wants out of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge center.  We here at CCS put out a statement on 03JAN2016 titled Discernment Oregon militia situation.

Robert “LaVoy” Finicum a well-respected Patriot (conservative libertarian) leader was killed by federal agents. Ammon Bundy, 40 and his brother Ryan Bundy got out alive. Several other people were arrested. We would like to point out that hopefully Montel Williams is sleeping happy tonight now that LaVoy Finicum father of 11 and grandfather, who Montel called a “hillbilly American Taliban” is lying dead.  LaVoy Finicum volunteered his house and family as a foster home.  The federal government tried to put pressure on him, by taking away his (foster) children.  His last twitter @OneCowboysStand post was his family singing the old Black hymnal Amazing Grace.

As we suggested in our only post on this issue, the tactics that Ammon Bundy employed did not seem to end in the advancement of liberty. Many, many people went out to speak to these guys to ask them to move on.  Even though I did not agree with their tactics, other than this one post, I have remained silent. I didn’t agree with the Occupy Wall street tactics either, but people need to get out in the street and protest this out of control government. When people act, often they act in ways I may not agree with.  We respect everyone’s right to protest this out of control government in their own way.  We respect the sacrifice of LaVoy Finicum, and it was a sacrifice for liberty.

The truth of the situation is hard to see. North West Liberty news published a  transcripts that say that LaVoy Finicum died with his hands up and out of the car as ordered. Other reports, such as Mark McConnel, who was at the scene posted a video on his Facebook page saying that LaVoy apparantly LaVoy refused to heed the commands of the federales.  The “18-year-old” female, now identified as Victoria Sharp put out her own eye witness account  that basically says the federales shot first and were the only ones shooting. She says he was trying to flee the scene. When they shot out the car, he exited the car and then the federales shot him dead. When he fell, the FBI shot him three more times. The “mainstream media” suggest the FBI only shot 3 times. She says they are lying. She claims hundreds of shots were fired. I believe my fellow citizen.

What appears to be clear is that Ammon Bundy put himself and the people who choose to associate with him into a terrible situation of being surrounded by the federales. This led to what you would expect from the Jackboots. They will use overwhelming force and kill as many people as possible given the opportunity.  An empty building in the middle of nowhere is more important than the lives of American citizens.  This government will prove it is in command. That is why they are called “law enforcement.”  There appear to be an unknown number of people still at the Harney County Resource Center. If they remain, then they too will be isolated and murdered at the federales leisure. I would recommend that the purpose of any conflict is not to “die for your cause.” It is to make the other poor bastard die for his cause.

I continue to pray for the people of Occupy Harney County Resource Center. No matter how this turns out in the next few hours or days, it is important for both sides to know. This will not be the last, situation between Christian, conservative libertarians who believe in the original intent of the Constitution and this current form of post-Christian, post-Constitutional government. Listen, learn and adapt.
